Dumaguete Dive and Beach Resort in Dauin

a new Dive and Beach Resort in Dauin (15 km south of Dumaguete) finally opens to the public. Mike Feeney, a very good friend of mine, welcomes his first guests in his new Beach Resort mid October.

The Dive Resort in Dauin with only 8 rooms in spacious landscaping is the ideal place for guests who want more than a nipa hut but are not willing to pay 100$ for a room like charged by other Beach Resorts in the Dauin Area.

Mike and his team is very well know for his great personality and accommodating way. The Dane and I still think about the best date to stay there for a few days to check out the cooling capabilities of his Beer ref's. Of course we gonna squeeze in some dives with Mikes Adventure Dive Shop and go for an Apo Island Trip, if weather and hangover permits.

The room prices will be 2 -2500 Peso in 2 categories. All in all is Mikes Dive and Beach Resort very valuable place with great staff and amenities. All the best from my side

sorry for the late reply. I needed to ask mike... and of course you can book the 2 Piso room.

It is a shared room and you might be the eldest in the room, so you are in charge for the well-being of your roommates... Here is a picture of three of them :-)

There are plenty of great resorts in the Philippines.

However "Pearl of the Pacific" frequently leaves a sour aftertaste as all one can see from them is trying to advertise their place on private websites in a pretty unprofessional way. If that allows a conclusion how they run business, I would not go there...
