Default Trip to Cebu

One TV travel show said that the trip going to your destination is half of the excitement in traveling, this is true. My friend has not experience traveling either by ship or by plane. So we decided to make a trip to Cebu by Super Ferry going there and by Cebu Pacific going back to Manila.
Riding the Super Ferry brings mixed feelings of excitement and despair, excitement that you will travel the sea through a big vessel and bit despair when you see the condition of the passengers in the economy class. Passengers in the economy class stay in bunk beds and without walls; you can just imagine how they will weather the night especially if it’s raining.
Not to dampen our spirit, we proceed to our cabin. We are quite surprise to find an air conditioned room for two with two single beds, own toilet and television. I’m expecting an air conditioned room with five rows of bunk beds that we will share with other eight passengers.
The travel to Cebu by ship is about 18 hours. We stayed on deck most of the time where people gathered and enjoy the site. It is just amazing how the vast sea and the big blue sky seem to merge in an endless blue canvass.

I don't see this as a pity because I know that in case of a tragedy, the people in the wall-less bunk beds are more likely to be saved than those staying in the cabin.

In case it rains, the shades will be rolled down.

I had experienced and enjoyed both, economy is ideal for big group ( beyond any cabin or big room capacity) and adventurous travelers .......while cabin is ideal for smaller group of tourists or those traveling with kids or elders.
