Club Manila East This summer I and my family went for a whole day swim at the Club Manila East in Taytay, Rizal. It's a swimming complex, tourist class, and features different water sports like kayaking. It has ocean and sea wave simulations and the pools are HUGE! I couldn't imagine them being crowded no matter how many people went there for a swim.
Packed lunch or snacks are prohibited. There's an entrance fee. There are food delivery services inside. Delicious? Umm..they're okay, as long as you go there for swimming, not for enjoying lunch like you would in a restaurant.
By the way, entrance fee includes rent of a posh cabin with toilet and bath. It has a ceiling fan, plastic chairs, and kitchen sink.
Did I enjoy it? Well, the shower in the CR was fascinating and I had a headache. I wasn't able to enjoy the pools because I had an injury, and the noon time sun was terrible. My kids and nephews had a really good time.
How to get there? Hire a van and make sure the driver knows the ins and outs of Taytay. Don't go picnicking or swimming there by commuting in a public jeep. Take a cab. |
