CEB offers 2 million seats at 50% off

Cebu Pacific (CEB) is offering close to 2 million seats at 50% off in a system-wide seat sale from February 18-21, 2010, for travel June 1 to December 31, 2010. The sale is in appreciation of passengers who helped retain Cebu Pacific Air as the Philippines’ top travel website.

CEB’s 50% off seat sale is applicable to the airline’s 32 domestic destinations. This includes the Airbus and ATR flights to Boracay (Caticlan), Kalibo, Coron (Busuanga), Tagbilaran (Bohol), Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Laoag, and Ozamiz.

Promo seats up for grabs also include CEB’s 14 international destinations, namely Taipei, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok (from Manila and Clark), Incheon, Pusan, Shanghai, Taipei, Macau, Guangzhou, Osaka, Jakarta, Singapore and Hong Kong (from Manila, Cebu and Clark).

The airline’s lead is based on a February 15, 2010 Alexa Top Sites report, which provides web information services as well as website traffic statistics (Alexa the Web Information Company). The CEB website has been holding the top domestic travel website post since May 2007. “This great value seat sale is our way of thanking our passengers for making our website the only airline in Alexa’s top 100 Philippine sites. We allotted almost 2 million seats for this 50% off seat sale to give more travelers the chance to avail of the promo,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

“We will continue offering great deals on Fun Tours packages, latest seat sale details, and new travel products through the website, for every Juan’s travel needs. CEB currently offers Europcar car rentals, Ticketnet, hotel accommodations, Fun Prints photo developing, travel insurance, among others online,” she added.
