Default Three Week Itinary

If you had 3 weeks in the Philippines, how would you plan your trip?

I think I would like some waterfalls, SCUBA diving (maybe just the intro thing first to see if SCUBA diving is for me), wildlife, beaches and some nightlife.

So far I think I have Bohol and Boracay on my list, but I am not really sure. So please post suggestions here

of course I recommend the Central Visayas and Dumaguete. In 3 weeks you can visit several nearby islands (Bohol, Cebu, Siquijor) for some days or split the 3 weeks into 2 locations.

Puerto Galera might also be an option for you.

Try SCUBA diving (the first step is called "discover Scuba" about a 3 hour program ) right at the beginning (in Dumaguete of course with me), to see if you like it.

cheers

I agree with Rhoody it's best to try scuba diving first, rather than make a fixed itinerary , you know scuba diving is not for everyone but if it is your thing then Central Visayas ( Cebu Province, Bohol,Siquijor and Negros Oriental) is indeed an ideal base for diving and all water/watersports you may want to try.

But do include Palawan in your itinerary , it fits all the expectations and requirement ( waterfalls, SCUBA diving, wildlife, beaches and some nightlife) you have , I'm just not sure of 'nightlife', I just been to one - Kinabuch- better ask the guys.

From your point of origin

try flying to CEBU( hangout for a night)-
fly or bus ride to DUMAGUETE (try discover SCUBA and stay for a few days explore Neg Or and neighboring Siquijor )-
take boat to BOHOL (to dive in Balicasag , snorkel, dolphin watch , Loboc river Cruise, Chocolate Hills day trip, panglao beach)
go back to CEBU ( Mactan International Airport)
fly to PUERTO PRINCESA ( explore underground river , honda bay , etc and
fly to EL NIDO , PALAWAN ( explore the islands, dive , cliff climb, eat seafoods etc)
fly to MANILA ( and explore some more ( Caramoan- where Survivor France was shoot, Villa Escudero etc.) - if you still have time- we have great malls, checkout on the high-end shops in Greenbelt , Makati...items normally costs less here than HK )

hope this will help

Palawan doesn't really have any nightlife, Kinabuchs close around midnight... So I would call that Evening Life

Kinabuchs is a great place, I had many good nights enjoying a cold beer with my dad there in January...
