Default Seasonal traveling advice

Hi! Would like to know which are the best places to visit in Philippines going by months, such as:
- Jan-Mac
- Apr-Jun
- Jul-Sep
- Oct-Dec

Any advice on safety (weather) during those months?

November through April are usually the coolest - and for many tourists - the most comfortable time to visit.

Other weather concerns would be on place by place basis. Some areas gets hit hard by typhoons in the typhoon season while others usually have a nightly drizzle and thats it.

So you gotta figure out where you want to visit here as well

Thanks for the helpful tips, Dane!

Hmm, with that said, I've got to watch out for typhoons and such if I'm visiting Cebu, right? Do typhoons happen all-year round, or just a specific month/season?

The Typhoon-Season (if it can be called like that) is from august to november.
Anyway, locals call heavy rain already typhoon...

Usually they come from east to the PI and turn north. If they hit, Luzon is the normal target.

finally I have the chance to share a link to a real interesting picture (all typhoons/hurricanes til 2005 - 5.7 MB) worth the download. If you spend less than 5 minutes looking at it, I owe you a drink ...

Umm, my eyes spun looking at the hurricane paths. Well, it did load up about 5mins due to my slower-than-snail 'broadband' connection, so does it mean I can't claim your treat?

But great info about the typhoon. It's gonna be useful indeed whenever a trip to Philippines is planned around those months. Thanks very much.

Somehow my reply never materialised even after two weeks had passed. Did the hungry Internet ghost ate it up?
