Don't Ever!

Anything you do while in these islands, don't you ever stare sharply at anyone, especially the men. It can be interpreted as:

1. You're a homo, if you're a man staring at a man.
2. You're looking for trouble.
3. You're in need of a toilet, fast!
4. You don't have money for the fare, if in a public vehicle.
5. You're a maniac. They might report you to Baranagay tanods.
6. You're feeling handsome or beautiful, as the case may be.
7. You're using hypnosis or local witchcraft.
8. You're a thief or a snatcher.
9. You've been unwillingly fasting for days and are so hungry you could eat a horse--and a person.
10. Last, you want to borrow money. This is considered the worst in these islands. Folks are gonna stay clear from you, pronto!

If you want to plain talk, make sure your stare is conversation-friendly. If not, look elsewhere now and then while talking.

Those tips are really informative and somehow TRUE..

I am not sure what stare "sharply" means as I find people watching to be a national pastime over here. Many time in the mall I often see people staring at each other at fashon, at hair styles, whatever.

And about a guy thinking another is homosexual for looking is ridiculous. Also, the witchcraft?

And then the borrow money?

Where did this list come from? Sounds more like this would be the case somewhere in the deep south of the US not the Philippines. But I am hoping this post was more tongue in cheek than actual advice.
