calendar of (suggested) activities

I suggest that we have a section on activities specific for a given month or season in the Philippines. Though summer months ( March, April and May) are the best time for visiting it is not always coincidental with everyone else' schedule.

The section will highlight popular activities, sports events, important fiestas,etc. Entries for the section may come from different members and data will be consolidated first rather than staggered and retail entry . This will make the forum unique since all the other forums discuss on a regional or geographical basis though I believe the bulk of activities is still during the summer months and in more popular places but more people will visit if we can focus on the other months too.

an example:

SEPTEMBER in the Philippines
is the time for surfing (where, transpo etc)
is the time for whitewater rafting ( details etc)
is the time for Penafrancia Festival in Bicol ( details etc)
