Dinner at Circle in Shangri-la Makati Dinner at Circle in Shangri-la Makati is pricy but it worth every centavo. We went there for to treat a colleague. I am not used to expensive food and don’t have any idea what to get. I decided to go around first and check the food before getting anything. I only get food that I’m familiar with. I start the dinner with some maki, crab, and shrimp, followed by fried rice, two sweet foods in yellow sauce. I also eat tempura. The dinner was followed by a colorful dessert. I had chocolate mousse, strawberry cake, ripe mango, watermelon and melon. I ordered ripe mango drink as well. I had coffee before we wrap up our dinner. I am really full after that and was not able to experiment in the chocolate fountain. I finish the dinner with a cup of brewed coffee. We were there for about two hours talking about everything and nothing. We did not even notice that two hours had passed.
Guests in Circle are quite formal. There is this one Japanese girl that is animatedly talking endlessly with her mother for almost an hour. We are a bit shock with the bill but we are expecting it. |
