Default Lola Itang Pension House, Puerto Princesa

If you prefer to stay near the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Lola Itang Pension House is a fair choice; it’s near the wharf too. The existing entrance (adjacent restaurant) is less impressive but when we were led to our room, I was really surprised, the inn located at the back of the restaurant is really nice and homey. There are several rooms to choose from Lola Itang Pension House & Restaurant , we stayed at the Solo Villa for a couple of nights, a detached room with a/c, refrigerator, cable TV, double bed, clean comfort room and has a small private verandah and garden too all for P850/night.

There are fewer restaurants in the area but you can always hail a tricycle and ask to take you to a restaurant of your choice. There are some fine dining in Puerto Princesa hotels but more popular restaurants are along Rizal Avenue towards the airport.

I love Puerto Princesa...

i have only been there twice, but it is a great place to be - the only downside for me is the absolute lack of nightlife, I like a late night beer once in a while and Puerto Princesa did not seem to have those options...

I love Kinabuchs and Ka Lui Restaurants - Ka Lui was pretty arrogant in their whole operation, but I guess they can afford it being fully booked 6 days a week.

Kinabuchs was unassuming and simple good cheap food - this was my favorite place for dinner. I am a creature of habit so when I find a place I like it is hard to get me to go anywhere else.
