Casa Linda Inn, Puerto Princesa Casa Linda Inn is considered an institution in Puerto Princesa. It has been around for quite a while and had maintained several returning foreign and local clientele.
Situated in a quiet street, (Trinidad Rd., Rizal Ave.), Casa Linda has retained its native Filipino houses made of sawali and bamboo (but are actually double wall to hide the concrete/CHB partition walls). There are available air-conditioned and fan rooms arranged in an inverted U formation. A small but well kept garden and a simple native gazebo with few seats for reading and relaxing is situated in the middle part of the facility.
Casa Linda is 5 minutes tricycle ride away from Puerto Princesa Airport or you can walk. It has its own restaurant and a single computer with internet services available for a fee.
As a matter of courtesy, it is part of Filipino traditions and customs to remove your footwear when entering Casa Linda Inn, not imposed though, removing footwear when entering any traditional Filipino dwelling indicates a sign of respect. |
