Default OFW re-integration program of OWWA -

Are there OFW's that were able to avail of the OWWA reintergration loan facility of up to 2 million?

Default

As of this writing, OWWA in Cebu was able to process 171 applicants but only 4 were approved by Land Bank, money not yet released, when I forced Land Bank the issue of my application, I received a letter of rejecting my business proposal after 5 months of ding-dong-ding-dong. A business proposal that took me three years in the making long before this re-integration priviledge/benefit for OFW's was conceived.

From what I see, these benefit of OFW's 2 Billion are suppressed against the good intention of the Philippine Government to assist OFW's for the simple reason of incompetence, mismanaged procedures and lack of understanding of new technologies. OWWA has money for the OFW's and now I am requiring Land Bank to justify their reason for rejecting my proposal and be specific. Not just telling me - "did not pass bank credit parameters." This is tantamount to telling a student that he failed his engineering not knowing which subject was it and reason?

This case gives me a good picture of how things work in the processing and hope that if I get my case reconsidered my project proposal can benefit the whole country with the technology - copy & paste - there is nothing like it, food production for everyone. This test case will see how OFW's can link and connect together to show their strength from the four corners of the world. Are you with me?

We get what we deserve? You don't need to allow that to happen to you, you can get what you want? That means, if we allow things to happen as they are in the Philippine Government then there is no need to complain about how we are treated.
There are laws to protect us, know how to use this law and get what you want not the kind of services you are given. Please read carefully and let's get moving. Because if we always do what we always did we will always get what we always got.
As Rizal said, the "pen is mightier than the sword", we dare tell him now, our "laptop is mightier than the atomic bomb". We can reach the four corners of the world in just one "click-send" of the button.
We represent the Government - and if our Government is Lousy it is because we are Lousy - It is enough for evil to exist and prevail if "Good men do nothing",

Default OFW's we can change the Philippines - unite and organize

PNoy said it already time and time again - We are the boss and we are his boss - Unfortunately, most of us(BOSSES) really are not aware of what a BOSS should be and what a BOSS expects from his employees. So instead of being the BOSS, most are just content to be like mere lambs/chicken - and do not really know that we have such power of being the BOSS.

Once again, for evil to prevail and exist it is enough that the good BOSS do not do anything but tolerate it. Turn a blind eye and leave the work for the Good Samaritan to clean up. Instead of making "bagulbol" we should behave like we are the BOSS (Not arrogantly but with humility). It is important to understand that as the BOSS we have the right to "hire and to fire" those we employed. We have so many "rights" unfortunately, 80% just whimper with their tails between their legs - like a scared puppy. Let us starting thinking like a BOSS and work like a BOSS and not accept sloppy and inefficient service.

OFW's we can change the Philippines to be a better place - unite and organize

Dear OFW's,
Your frustration is mine as well. Because I hinged my hopes on the government program I am now bleeding financially.

However, our greatest obstacle is our system. The ideas-of the president/adviser are there it is the people who run and implement the system. To me, there are two ways we can approach this:
a. Either we live it to the hands of these people and stay the way we are, as is; (mostly complains and complains) or,

b. Unite and organize and take charge of our future. Unite OFW's their relatives and friends. If we can get through this, we can get through every government agency. We do not wish to take down the people running our government or our government. We are the government, what we want to achieve is efficient and productive ways of doing things. The Philippines is a very very very wealthy country in terms of resources. There is more than enough wealth for everyone, we just need to make sure that these resources are properly distributed in terms of wealth, resources and information(education).

If we are to progress and improve, we have to change the way we do things, we have seen what other countries have done, it is no rocket science, Singapore, we can achieve much better if we only unite and organize. We are the government and if we are lousy our government will be lousy. There in front of each one of you is the most powerful tool to effect the improvements and changes we want and expect.

There are millions brillant minds out there, waiting to be harnessed and focused into one concentrated light, when focused like a laser beam can cut through all the levels of government bureaucracy to ensure that wealth of our beloved country is distributed and reaches to the poorest of the poor. Can, can, can be done.

Default Doing what we always did, gets us what we always got..

As an ex-OFW from Singapore, gave me a taste and experience of what life could be and believe could be in a decent country. Does it really need so much work-effort to change our one and only beloved country (The Philippines)? A country we could all be proud of? With the tools we have in front of us and the bright minds that we export to other countries, we could have a country far far far better than what we have right now. We just need to unite and organize because we believe we can make this country a better place than Singapore. There is no need for greed, hunger or violence to prevail in our country because we can have much more fun in our country. Now is the time for the best and brightest to take the lead-knowledge is power. Get involved.

For evil to prevail and exist, it is enough that good men do nothing. However, if we know how to work smart, just by doing "nothing but knowing how" we can change our system, we can have the kind of Government that we want to have. Do you want to be the BOSS of PNoy or just take whatever the Government gives to you? Do you want to have a chance to be in control and be the BOSS or just keep on taking what ever (TIHS) is given to you? That only you can decide.
