Dakak Has the Best Beach in W. Mindanao

The most beautiful beach in Mindanao can be found in Dapitan, in barangay Taguilon, Dakak, where a resort now stands. The first time I visited the place was when it was a remove hideaway accessible by a motor banca. there were only about a hundred souls living there, mostly fishermen. The beach was so clean and immaculate white. Today the same quality of the white sand is maintained. Every day the beach is cleaned by the keepers.
But what made the beach so popular these days is that it could be reached by an all-weather road from the Poblacion, Dapitan city.
If your are going there, you can bring along your car or Range Rover. You can use the government's RORO facilities through the port of Pulauan, also in Dapitan
Compared to Boracay where there are over a hundred resorts, not counting the newest Shangri-La hotel and golf link, Dakak hosts only one resort--the Jalosjos-owned Dakak Park & Beach Resort.
Look for Cely, Rodol or Jun Jalosjos. Or look for Lana or Bulitt Jalosjos.
