Abbondanza in Ortigas

One time my friends and I were looking for Italian cooking but it should be served in big sizes but not pricy. Good thing my friend’s friend knows a place that passes our requirements. This is Abbondanza restaurant located at G/F Crescent Condominium corner San Miguel Avenue and Amethyst Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. From the restaurant’s name itself it means everything big and abundant.

We were 6 then all of us were famished and ready to spend about 300 per head. So we looked at the menu and played safe because this was all our first time at Abbondanza. Thus we ordered their house specialty the Abbondanza Pizza to feed six hungry heads. The size of this pizza is 27 inches and has four different toppings that is enough to sate eight persons. Price of this pizza is 850, so divided by 6 that is 141 each. We ordered 2 servings of spaghetti 195 each. All totaling 1240 divided by 6 that is 206 per head. And each one of us still has a hundred pesos to order the beverage of her choice.

Other dished that I tried on my next visits were Cannelloni agli Spinach this is a healthy choice because it is stuffed with spinach and cheese. And I also love their Pollo Arrosto, this is another one of their house specialty. This is baked chicken with vegetables. The chicken meat is perfect it is so tender and moist.
Price ranges from 175 to 280 per meal.
