A Venue

A Venue is a new mall along Makati Avenue. This is not as large as Glorietta, SM or Landmark. But even though it is not big it still has the attractions you will look for a mall like stores and restaurants. I observed that most stores are specialty retail stores like for example antique shop, accessories, and novelty products. They also have services like dental clinic.

Another one that I observed is that they have more restaurant outlets than retail stores. Well I think this can attract more patrons for A Venue because rather than competing with the big malls they positioned themselves for the small crowd niche market. This mall is perfect for those who would like to get away from the large shopping crowd. On a personal note, I agree with A Venue’s positioning because who would go shopping in a small place when in fact the big malls are just near.

Anyhow, I already been at A Venue and this is a good place to unwind. The restaurants and bars here are small but are all cozy and relaxing. I also noticed that their patrons are mostly the upscale group. And due to the fact that this place is for people who avoid crowd, well I have seen some celebrities too enjoying the not so crowded A Venue mall. Capone’s Bar is a favorite hang-out of some showbiz personalities, so try it here for a change.
