| Have you heard of this local restaurant named Tsoko Nut? I don’t know how many branches they have, but I visited their branches in SM Makati and RCBC Plaza, both in Makati. Tsoko Nut boasts of the original recipe of their “tsokolate.” If you happen to eat in their restaurant, you will see this big picture of an old lady manually grinding a chocolate. The walls are also decorated with the history of Chocolate drinks in the Philippines from the Spanish era. I keep on coming back with Tsoko Nut, not only because of its history but also because of the good food they serve. I extremely enjoy their pansit molo, fantasia bread with tinapa dip and last of course their famous tsokolate. The pansit molo is always served hot with just the right tinge of salt and pepper. This is the only place I know of who offers tinapa dip. Dipping fantasia bread into tinapa dip is a different experience. The fantasia bread is soft as sponge that soaks the tinapa dip into it. Tsoko Nut tsokolate is heavenly. It is a real brewed chocolate. It is served hot and thick. Just talking about it makes me hungry. |
