Sentro 1771 I made a post here in PB about Adarna Restaurant wherein I recommended that this is a must try upscale Filipino Restaurant. I have another one to recommend for those who cannot go as far as Kalayaan Avenue in QC, this is Sentro 1771 that is located at 2nd Level, Ayala Center Greenbelt 3.
The restaurant set-up is nothing really special but just a normal well designed modern place. Anyways there is no need to try very hard to make the ambiance posh because having a branch at Greenbelt is already a status that your place is upscale.
When you go at Sentro you will readily get the message that this restaurant is popular because whenever I go there almost all the tables are filled. And I’ll be lucky enough to get a good spot during lunch and dinner wherein these are the hours of its peak.
Sentro do not have any gimmicks or a special attraction in their restaurant but still they where able to get customers and had kept it loyal to them. The reason for this is because their food is really SUPERB. I also give credits for their good customer service. A must try here is the Corned Beef in Tamarind soup or in local term Corned Beef Sinigang. This is their best seller and I observed that each filled table in Sentro has a serving of their signature sinigang, thus I am not the only one who fell in love with their sinigang. Other dishes that I always order are the Rated GG (boneless galungong), Stir Fried Vegetables, and Garlicky Adobo.
The price per dish ranges around 200 to 500 pesos though expensive the amount of the servings complements the price. |
