Thumbs up That 70’s Bistro

A typical Filipino night out is cold beer, sizzling sisig, and music. If you are doing this every Friday this might have become boring and not something to look forward to. Actually what has gone blah is the repetitive music (Of course, we will not get tired of cold beer and the sizzling sisig). Yup, because most bar performances has gone generic already and I began to notice that I can predict what are the next sets of song.

If you are really tired of the same music in most of the bars then try a night out in 70’s Bistro. This bar is located at Anonas Street, Project 2, Quezon City, just walking distance from my house . This bistro stages live bands but not like the generic ones in most bars. What they have here are the Pinoy folk rockers. To mention some famous names Noel Cabangon, Joey Ayala, and Grace Nono who are regulars in 70’s Bistro. All the scheduled performers here are focused on giving the audience the best Pinoy cultural rock music. Astig!

Aside from their regular weekly Pinoy rock, they stage Beatles night once a year. And believe me this small bistro is really jam packed during this event. I attended last year’s wow I really had a smashing night.

PM me if you want a gig sked.
