I am a resident of Quezon City since birth, yup all my thirty two years of life. And I am very proud of my hometown. Because this may not be as posh as Makati or as historical as Manila but definitely Quezon City is a glamorous city.
Glamorous is my description because Quezon City (QC) is also known as the City of the Stars. Because the country’s two biggest television networks and film studios are located in QC. So are the country’s shiniest stars and biggest politicians has residential addresses in QC.
Location wise QC is has good access to other cities of Metro Manila. If you are in QC it is easy to go to Mandaluyong, Pasig, Makati, Marikina, and Caloocan. You may either ride a bus, taxi, shuttle service, or MRT the get to these cities I’ve mentioned. Within the city there are many good spots you can visit. If you are looking for night gimmick I recommend Tomas Morato-Timog and Eastwood City. These places can cater to any entertainment of your preference like KTV, live band, comedy bars, disco bar, or simply good booze with friends. For shopping I recommend Araneta Center Cubao, SM North EDSA, and Trinoma Mall.
If you are new in QC you can buy a map available in National Bookstore. You will need this because QC is really big. Or you may ask me here in the forum if there is a specific place you want to see and I am willing to give you some hints .
