Carafe Bar and Restaurant

Two of my colleagues treat us to Carafe Bar and Restaurant in Kamagong in Makati. We reached the place at around 12 midnight. The place is quite different from a common bar and restaurant I visited. It is just like a big residential compound with scattered tables and seats. No one is performing in the make shift stage when we arrive. We ordered chicarong bulaklak, crispy pata, fried chicken, several buckets of san mig light and two bottles of vodka cruisers. Carafe gives you that feeling that you are just in your own backyard having fun with friends. Only four or five tables where occupied during that time. Two ladies performed their second set singing popular songs of today.
Videoke opens after the ladies finished their set. It’s almost 2 in the morning. Almost all the tables were occupied which is expected as it is a Friday night. Occupants of each table are only allowed to sing three songs at a time to give chance for others to sing. Each song cost P10. Two of my friends sing really well. They are requesting me to sing but there are just too many people. I can only sing with twenty people or so in the audience. Time flies when you’re having fun. We went home at around 4 in the morning.
