Taller buildings sometimes cause weaker signals. A real estate company builds a thirty storey condominium building beside my apartment building. Smart cell phone signal suddenly weakens inside my room and sometimes lose the signal all together. Signal is a bit stronger in the hallway, but I can’t always stay outside to receive text message or calls. I tried using a Globe sim, and it has a stronger signal. Unfortunately, I can’t just change lines as my Smart gold plan is until the end of the year. So I decided to buy a dual sim cell phone.

I found several dual sim cell phones in the net and decided to purchase Samsung D880. I know from experience that Park Square in Makati has several cell phone stores. Compex offers the lowest price among other stores. Samsung D880 costs 16K to 17K that time, but Compex price is just 13K. The store clerk said that the price is really low as this is the last unit. I purchased that phone.

I came back two more times when I want to buy cell phones as gifts to my brothers. Compex really offers the lowest price in the area by PhP500 to PhP1,000.
