Kalayaan Avenue, Quezon City is where Adarna Restaurant is located. The first time I entered this restaurant I felt that I went in a time zone warping me back to the Spanish era. The restaurant ambiance is perfect. I highly recommend this place to everybody. When I learnt about this place I make it a point that my foreign friends and my balikbayan relatives will not leave the Philippines without dining in this restaurant and having their souvenir pictures here. To further describe, Adarna’s setting is the elite traditional Filipino. The furniture, plates, silvers, cups, glass, lighting, paintings, and everything else you’ll see is a shout out that says whoever dines here is class.
Their menu has every regions food for the elites and only a Pinoy food connoisseur would be familiar with these (well I am,

). A must try is the Sigarillas Salad and the Adobong Batangas.
Aside from the perfect setting and classic menu they also have a mini museum inside featuring the golden years of the Philippine cinema. They also cater to business functions and once in a while have events like Balagtasan (this is for those who have high level of literary talent).
Food here is pricy but it is worth it. Actually way beyond compare amongst the Filipino high-end restaurants at Greenbelt. Believe me.
