Former Philippine President Corazon "Cory" Aquino passed away at 3:18 am August 1, 2009.

I'm in great awe to what Pres. Cory stands for, she is the modern icon of democracy in the Philippines and the rest of the world.

Her remains will be at Heritage Park , Taguig City.

At 3pm today, the (hopefully) last state of the nation address (SONA) of the 14th Philippine president will be delivered. Whether truthful report or not, majority in the Philippines is in great anticipation for this speech,.

I hope it will be her last.

Whoever the 15th president will be, let him be guided by God and lead the Philippines righteously. We long for "good governance"
in our country.

The Republic of the Philippines has a total of 5 UNESCO World Heritage sites. Aside from the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, the other 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites here are:

• Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park (1993)
• Baroque Churches of the Philippines (1993)
• Historic Town of Vigan (1999)
• Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras (1995)
