| Angeles City is situated in one of the provinces of the Philippines called Pampanga. Both international and local tourists are welcome to visit this city and rest-assured, they will all enjoy their visit because of its countless establishments that will surely bring enjoyment, whether daytime or nighttime. Both morning- and night-people will love the place but more than anyone else, night-people will be the ones to have the time of their lives. It is what Angeles City is popularly known for – it would not be called the Center for Nightlife for nothing. In this regard, allow us to take everyone there as we become the travel guide to Angeles City. TRANSPORTATION Those who are in Luzon, one of the main islands of the Philippines, may reach Angeles City by land and it doesn’t matter whether tourists are from the southern of northern part of Luzon. The city could be reached by traversing the North Luzon Expressway by any mode of transportation. Tourists will find it convenient to go to Angeles City because of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway. International tourists can reach the place the same way if they come from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. If international tourists wish not to pass by the Manila airport, they may book their flight where the airplane will land on the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, located in the Clark Free Port Zone. FESTIVITIES AND EVENTS This would not be a travel guide to Angeles City if we would not talk about its various festivities and events which are, in most cases, the reason behind the interest of tourists to visit the place. One of the most popular events, if not the most, is the Philippine International Hot-Air Balloon Fiesta that is conducted at the Clark Field in either in January or in February. Participants are not only from the Philippines but from different parts of the world. The Sisig Festival is also one of the most popular events in the city. Sisig, which originated in Pampanga, is one of the most famous foods in the Philippines and there is no reason why this should not be celebrated. This festival used to be held in Balibago, Pampanga along McArthur Highway. Now, it is held in SM City-Clark but is still celebrated in December. This travel guide to Angeles City would not be complete if we would not mention the other festivities such as the La Naval Fiesta, the Tigtigan Terakan keng Dalan event, and the Apu Fiesta that are all held in October. Again, this travel guide to Angeles City would definitely be not complete without mentioning several establishments that night-people will love. There are numerous bars and restaurants that are open until the wee hours of the morning – or make that, until the sun shines the next morning. Some of the bars where tourists may hang out include the Camelot Bar, the Insomnia Bar, and the Gilley’s Roadhouse. There’s actually more than what’s mentioned in this travel guide to Angeles City. We suggest tourists to have a long stay there and make the most out of their vacation. Tourists who are interested in visiting Angeles City, Pampanga are advised to make their stay there long because they would not be able to visit all the places if they would stay only for three days. There are several festivals and events conducted there, especially in October, which will surely allow tourists to enjoy. Nightlife is the main thing in this city. |
