Kultura Not Just a Souvenir Shop Shopping is every girl’s favorite thing to do. And whenever I want my time to just pass I go window shopping (it is still shopping hehehe). One time I wanted to kill time so I went to SM Megamall. As usual I was looking at the clothes and shoes boutiques but I was that time getting bored of seeing different styles and colors but all have the same fashion purpose.
While looking around, there is this store that I often see but I never tried looking inside. Due to the monotonous views that I am seeing that time, the store now had caught my interest. This store is KULTURA. So I looked inside and got a taste of something different to appreciate.
The focus of this store is Philippine made products. Reason why I did not explore it before is because I had the impression that it sells souvenir items. Well, yes they do sell souvenirs but impressively they have products for whatever your need is. Like for clothing they offer really fashionable native outfits, if you think that you may look like going to the “lingo ng wika” if you wear native outfits, well not for Kultura. Outfits here are very Pinoy, fashionable, and elegant. I actually purchased pieces that I use for work and night outs. They also sell fashionable “bakya” that you can pair with casual mini skirts. The outfits they sell are best paired with the accessories from Kultura too, and remarkably the designs are unique and are not available from other accessory shops. I was also impressed with their pretty household displays like the big vases, lamps, carpets, table runners, and “baul” (wooden chest).
Other products for sale in Kultura are quality “pasalubong” delicacies and wine like “lambanog” or “tuba”, magic sing, hats, novelty items, and toys. Thought the items here are a bit expensive than some other Filipiniana shops, its worth it anyway because at Kultura you will get an assurance that it meets international standards.
Kultura outlets are located in major SM Malls in Luzon and in Cebu. |
