Old Famous Cavite Beaches Lido Beach and Villamar Beach were famous beaches in Cavite in the 1970s. These beaches were favorite movie shooting location during that time as it is relatively near Manila. We also go Lido Beach or Villamar Beach when I was a kid to enjoy the crisp sea breeze, my mother said it’s good to our health particularly if we are sick. Unfortunately, beach owners were not able to maintain its cleanliness. They allow beach guests to leave their trash that eventually washed over to the sea.
I consider this as a “chicken and egg” situation. The owners will need to invest a large sum to renovate the place and improve its facilities, which in turn will definitely increase the entrance fee from PhP30 to probably a PhP100. The common Filipino people will not be able to afford the place when this happen.
Lido Beach and Villarmar Beach are located in Noveleta, Cavite near Cavite City.
One can enjoy a day in a beach with a small budget in Lido Beach. Entrance fees for children and adults are PhP30 per person, shower at PhP15 per person, beach table rental at PhP150, vehicle entrance from PhP30 to PhP120.
Yes, these beaches are not as clean as before but at least the masses still have a place to go to enjoy nature. |
