New Adventure

hi! ive been living in the philippines for about 10 yrs. its all good and all. but living in an urban area, im longing for adventure. any suggestions? anywhere in the luzon are would be great

Which type of adventure do you prefer? water (sea-freshwater)? air? mountain? These are all available in Luzon.

hmm.. im from angeles city. ive been to pinatubo already.. thats about it.. any adventure will do. im not specific about it.

An easy adventure would be in Subic...

You can swim with the dolphins in Ocean Adventure...

Or feed the tigers in Zoobic safari...

Subic would be fun..... but if you prefer a more adventurous trip, there are a few travel/tour agencies that offer white water rafting (during this wet season) in Chico River, Cagayan.

I also suggest surfing, you can either go to San Juan, La Union in Western Luzon (South China Sea) or Baler, Aurora in Eastern Luzon ( Pacific Ocean), there are local surfing clinics there and even freelance surfing intructors.

Or go up to the mountains and revisit the Cordillera Rice Terraces- try the less popular ones - Mayoyao,Hapao and Kiangan.

If you are into festivals/fiestas, the nearest big one I know in Luzon is the Penafrancia Festival in Naga City ( Bicol Region) celebrated in honor of the Virgin every mid September.
