Default At last, Mc Donalds

Nowadays, having a Jollibee and Mc Donald’s in provincial towns is a sign of progress. Noveleta in Cavite is a sleepy town. The town proper only has a small market, one rural bank and one commercial bank.

Approximately six or seven years ago, Mc Donalds finally decided to open a store in Noveleta, the very first fast food chain in the town. Everybody is excited. It’s not the first time that we eat in Mc Donalds, but it’s the first time that the town has its own branch.

Unfortunately, the Noveleta franchise did not leave up to my expectation. I used to work in Mc Donalds in Makati and was quite familiar on the strict high quality that the store has to maintain. The Noveleta branch is not achieving that high standard. Some of the staffs are not polite, they clean the floors even if there are customers present in the area. There are flies in the store. The service is slower than standard.

About a year ago, Jollibee open a branch almost beside McDonalds. The competition is fierce. Only handful visited Mc Donalds during the first few weeks as customers trooped to Jollibee. Customers still visit McDonalds just to have variety from Jollibee’s food.

I still patronize Mc Donalds because their burgers are better than Jollibee.

I have to laugh at the two of you debating on who's burgers are better, that's an easy answer....they're all garbage, it's not food it's just junk food rubbish that makes people fat and very unhealthy.
