Palace in the Sky
Palace in the Sky or People Park in the Sky is located in Tagaytay. This mansion is originally owned by the late President Marcos and his family. Cory Aquino government then sequestered the mansion when the Marcoses step down from power, which later converted to a park and open to the public.
There is jeep going up there, but it’s more exciting to walk. The road is very steep and reaching the top on foot is a real challenge. I tried that once, I thought I’ll die before I reach the top.
The view at the top of palace in the sky is breathtaking. You can see the scenery of Tagaytay from up there. The air is cool and crisp. It is a good site for endless picture taking. The last time I was there was with friends.
There are a lot of store there wherein you can buy various hand made native product. I bought a table display with 5 sand times in one, each one in different color. What’s lacking in there is a place to eat. There’s only one decent place to eat.
If you wish to go there, just look for the jeep near the junction.
