Cool Hundred Islands

One of my unforgetable moments was when I went to Hundred Islands. You get to the islands by a motored banca from Lingayen or Alaminos in Pangasinan. When you're in the mmiddle of the islands, you see fish swimming in the water clearly. When I was swimming along the shore of Quezon Island (each island has a name), I could see fish swmming around my legs in the crystal clear waters and the white sand below. Quezon Island has picnic huts. We had lots of grilled bangus (milk fish) and pork chops for lunch. Had lots of sweet, sweet mangoes and rice cakes (suman) cooked in bamboos.

You see why it's unforgetable?

When I went there the trip was a disaster...

We rented a boat and went around the islands, the wife of one of my friends was stung/bitten/something by some creature/plant/something in the water on the beach of one of the islands, so we rushed back to mainland.

When we got to the pier there the boatman forgot to stop the boat so we crashed in to the pier...

Very memorable trip, had a bump on my forehead to show for it the next couple of weeks...
