Burger King to be Built in Angeles City...

...well, maybe.

So I am sitting at home thinking about what I'm going to fix myself for lunch and I get a text from Chef Chris (the executive chef at C'Italian Restaurant) and he says that the head guy of Burger King Asia just had lunch at C.

He tells Chris that Burger King is looking to expand further north in Luzon than San Fernando (the closest Burger King to Angeles) and that MacArthur was looking to be one of these first franchises going to be built.

Now there was no timeline set in place or specific location but it was branded about by the guy that somewhere close around McDonalds and Jollibee right there at the foot of Fields Avenue.

I realize that this news for tourists is boring and you all couldn't care less, but for us Expats (well, at least THIS Expat) this is great news. I'll take a flame broiled burger over that McDo crap any day of the week!
