I want to write about the Wagayway festival for a magazine and I would like to know when is the right time to be there in Kawit or Imus. Is June 10 or earlier date better than going there by June 12? What's new about Imus?or Kawit? Please brief me about the festival and other festivals , like the June 24 festival in Cavite City. |

| hello asian turista. the wagayway festival is held every 23rd to 28th of May. it started in 2008 and it is celebrated to commemorate the National Flag Day, which is held every 28th day of May. This year, many celebrities and political personalities participated in the celebration. Ryza Cenon, Queenie Padilla and Chynna Ortaleza represented the three stars of the Philippine flag while the 8 rays were represented by the finalists of the Mutya ng Imus. Imus Councilor Emilio Aguinaldo IV played the role of General Emilio Aguinaldo while actress Jacklyn Jose played the role of Marcella Agoncillo. One of the interesting events that happened in the festival include the presentation of the 60 ft. long Philippine flag. |

| Hello guys! I'm from Cavite City. I regularly attend Cavite City's Regada Festival. I would just like to give you an advice if you like to visit and join the water festival. Please do not let the girls wear short "shorts", tight fitting tops, or the like. They will be chased (literally). |
