Jollibee Happy!

When I was a kid whenever I am in Jollibee I felt like I am eating in a 5 star hotel. Gosh, that was like twenty five years ago! Way back Jollibee serves hamburger, potato fries, spaghetti, fried chicken, and ice cream sundae.

During that time an international famous fast-food brand was also penetrating the Philippine market. I also remember that same time period, Jollibee had a taste of bad publicity because it was rumored that their burgers are not meat but it is made of cultured worms. Nevertheless they were able to survive the market.

Now Jollibee did not just only survived but it became the number 1 fast-food chain in the Philippines and has also earned the recognition as one of the largest fast-food chain in the world. As a Filipino I am proud that we were able to expand this big and show the world what we got. I believe that Jollibee’s secret to success is good customer service, marketing, and the thirst to satisfy the Pinoy (and everybody’s) taste. And check out the merchandize, my kids go gaga over Jollibee dolls, bags, and shirts. If there is a size for adults I’ll definitely get one for myself.
