Red face Are there Any Active Volcanos Near Manila?

I am planning a trip to Manila and was wondering if there is an active volcano near Manila I could go have a look at.

Thanks,

Default taal volcano

i think taal is an active volcano. tagaytay is just an hour drive from manila, at the most. you can see the volcano from some of the relaxing and cozy restaurants in tagaytay like dencio's, carlos pizza and even in starbucks. there are other beautiful places in tagaytay that you can see like the picnic grove where you can ride the cable car and zip line.

Riding a cable car up there?

Would that be safe?

Default cable car

yes. it is safe. the staff conducts precautionary measures regularly, mostly in the morning before the visitors come in. i even saw them checking if the cable car and the zip line are working properly. i haven't tried the cable car yet but i certainly enjoyed riding the zip line. for only 200 pesos, i definitely had a wonderful experience that day.

Smile tagaytay cable car

hehe! i don't know about that but you can try the cable car instead. i haven't tried it but i think it can accommodate even up to four individuals at a time. you can even bring friends with you to enjoy the experience. im not sure about the rate though, but it is somewhere around 250 pesos to 400 pesos. plus, i think it is safer than the zipline and you can enjoy the great view of the surrounding areas.

Rhoody, You probably need to tie a skateboard on your stomach or you will get hurt scraping yourself all the way up...
