Xoom.com has lower fees when you fund your money transfer with a US bank account for Peso payout, for example up to $2,999 to the Philippines for $4.99.

Then they will make sure they get paid plenty on the exchange rate

Until last year we often used Xoom for deposit transfers from guests. It worked well .. very fast and the exchange rate was okay.

Only since this year we have problems .. most of the transactions to our Philippines BPI account were cancalled; no clue about the reason :
