A month ago (when I came back form a short trip last June 10), each exit gate in NAIA terminal is provided with thermal scanner manned by DOH staff assisted by airport personnel...... also, each passenger is asked to fill out health status forms provided during the flight and submitted to the DOH staff manning the thermal scanner who in turn will hand over a health alert notice for those without symptoms. I observed that another passenger was taken out of the line and given another form to fill out and was assited straight to the immigration line for stamping (maybe he has an elevated body temperature or the information he provided makes him a candidate for H1N1).

But still (and like in most airports), they pay extra attention to elders and those travelling with babies like you. I dont think it would be ' masyadong hassle'.
