Diving With Whale and Dolphins in Ocean Adventure I enjoy going down to Ocean Adventure once in a while, it is fantastic to see the dolphins and the whales do their shows. This time was a little different; we went down there to actually go scuba diving in the show area with these graceful and very large sea mammals. Ocean Adventure has a Scuba Encounter plan where you pay P4250 for a 25 minute dive. It is required that you are a certified diver before you can go on this dive. I called in ahead and booked the dive for myself, Rhoody and a friend of ours. The girl on the phone spoke very good English and she was very professional. We got a booking done and she told us the dive would be at 10AM and we need to be there at 9AM, and don't be late. This is the Philippines so I calculated in Filipino time which turned out to be a bad idea. at exactly 9am I got a call from Ocean Adventure on my cell phone asking where we are... Oops... arrived 10 min late The staff there greeted us and carried our dive gear down to the dive shop where we got tanks and weights and geared up. Then off to the show area where we were happy to see visibility was better than we expected The dive is done on shallow water, deepest point of our dive was 11.5 meters and we had good visibility (for Subic) all over, the dive is guided by an animal handler and a dive master from the dive center in Kamayan Beach Resort. I total we played with 1 false killer whale and 3 dolphins under the water, this is for sure a diver’s wet dream and I highly recommend this to anybody and everybody with a dive certificate.
