Thumbs up No to Speeding

Public Utility Jeepney is the key transportation means within Davao City. With 8 pesos in hand And 6 pesos for students you will come a long way indeed with the first 4 kilometers tour. In a city as big as Davao, to travel from one place to another needs to be comfortable.

In Davao’s Boarder lines like, Toril, Calinan and Panacan, Davao CITY where acessability to jeepney is easy but may take a while. A normal travel time from Toril and Calinan to Davao City’s downtown or center of business and commerce takes about an average of an hour or one hour and a half.

There are two commons jeepney structure you can found in streets. The multicab or the small jeeps can accommodate up to 14 persons whom runs around with in the city and seldom for farther routes. On the other hand the Long jeeps which can cater up to 30 heads.

These farther routes means more cautious in transport business thus they mean full packed jeepney and hmm faster KpH? Although traffic authorities are everywhere, still some remained hard headed.

After a tragic event occurred somewhere in Mintal area due to PUJ overspeeding. the traffic authorities , spearheaded by the CITY Mayor led the campaign to no to speeding. They immediately activated the response and started to check on the jeepneys.

Each jeep was hailed to stop and have their jeep checked on. It was a meticulous one, they should have all the safety precautions needs like the seatbelts, and even a handbreak. All caught with incompatabilities are then given a golden and ticket and is asked to follow the desired punishment.
