Live shows in Davao

Live shows in Davao are literally new to Davaoñeos where local and some international artist performs at their best in variety show type or should I say Concert best fits the word.

It was the First major concert here in Davao that was a big hit by Air Supply held at Holy Cross Gym then I realized that Concerts are doing well in our city. It was a paid concert in a big venue and it was indeed successful.

About ten years ago then , my mom used to attend to concerts only at Casino Filipino where they can hold small number of crowd . I don’t know if it was successful then since I was not allowed to watch simply because I’m younger than 18 years old .

Now that I’m in my twenty I have come to appreciate these big concerts in the city so well and I must say the Davaoñeos has learned to patronize them too. There two major concert producers in Davao that leads the crowd to laughing out loud, namely Jive Production and ESG promotions.

The two mentioned producers concentrated more on artist from manila with comedy stars as the high light of the show. They are mostly held at CAP auditorium and Central Bank convention hall , where it can hold up to two thousand people .

These shows never failed to amused DAVAO by the artistic side of every Filipino as well as praise other talents from other countries. So we are all just waiting in vain for any upcoming shows in Davao.
