The City government of Davao has established its name as being one of the cities with strict ordinance implementation especially those stressed by the mayor, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

All through out Philippines I must say that the mayor was able to manage a positive note about Davao amidst the negative tourism report. I could recall when I went for a vacation in Zamboanga city, Phiippines when the people knew I am from Davao, all they could ask me aside from Durian was our City Mayor.

All they asked me was How was Davao in terms of disciplined. Is the mayor very scary? Are we all law abiding or how about the crime rates?

I am not political advocate or publicist here but after mayor almost the end of two term office or six years of service at May 2009 I can say that the mayor has indeed made a big change in us. As observed the people have become more disciplined to name a few of well implemented ordinances are the following; wearing of helmet, traffic rules, anti-smoking ordinance and a whole lot more.
