Thumbs up Camp Sabros zipline

Have you in your wildest dreams wished you’re Superman or the Pinoy Lady Superhero Darna? Do you wish to soar above the trees and elevate yourself about 180 feet below the ground? If you answered yes and yet questioned how, then come to Camp Sabros.

Camp Sabros is 3980 feet above sea level, hence giving a cold temperature of 91 °F / 33 °C. It is located at the highlands of Kapatagan, Davao del Sur and about two hours drive from Davao City.

Owned by the Sacdalans, this place is a wonderful hang out for those who wish to conquer fear of heights and speed.

The 380 meters zipline is considered as the longest zipline in the country today. And in less than one minute in the air, one would want to do it again and again, over and over.

Just a piece of advice though, don’t come to Camp Sabros during weekends and holidays as the waiting line is very long.

On clear day at Camp Sabros, one would see the majestic view of Mount Apo. And best admired when you’re above the pine trees, strapped and zooming in zip.

By night, you may choose to spread your tent under the pale moon or check in on their log cabins for overnight accommodations.

Hi!

Is this the same zipline featured in Dyan Castillejo's program- Sports Unlimited? I saw just a portion when it was aired, I think it also featured a wet zipline adventure offered in one of the newly developed resorts in Samal (IGaCOS).

If in case Davao visitors missed Camp Sabros , a similar zipline adventure is offered here in Luzon (Tagaytay Picnic Grove) having the Taal Volcano vista as mentioned in one the previous threads in our forum.

I sure hope Camp Sabros did their homework - promoting their place and services - for the Kadayawan 2009 ( Aug 16-23) visitors.

You are so privileged to live in one of the nicest place in the country. Davao City is an ideal place to live and I enjoyed my two previous visits there, I visited Samal as well, long before it became IGaCoS.
