Thumbs up Jo’s Chicken Inato

Exclusive Chicken may imply in the name of the restaurant but they offer more than chicken meals. Located at Quirino City Street, Davao City.

The restaurant is easily spotted by the architectural structure itself. Around 30 year old wood house well preserved across the street was newly renovated, keeping the same foundation of the house as well as some parts of the wooden walls. As air blows in and out of the house the cooking scents of ingredients make every stomach wonder.

They serve barbeque and fried chicken meals with unlimited rice and free cola at 80 pesos only. They have a bunch of mouth watering viands to choose from, price range from 100-300 pesos, To top their list their, sizzling sisig, chopsuey, fried kangkong and pancit.

I must admit the taste of their Barbeque has unique flavor which keeps me coming back for more. To compliment the main dish they offered variety of Halo-halo. My favorite is the halo-halo in buko....This is a halo-halo or mixture of ube yum, mongo, leche flan, white beans, jackfruit, banana and ice cream inside the shell of Buko per se and you have to scrape the buko meat first to start the Halo-halo. Their mais con yelo in the Buko is also a must try as well as the Buko Pandan. For those whom are not that adventurous you can settle in different ice cream flavors and other sweets.

Jo’s Inato is just along the high way but just right to every pocket budget but the best in every spoonful of their food.

Jo's is a franchise chain, I think there are also 4 in Cebu City, one in Dumaguete and ine about 10 km north of Dumaguete called Jo's by the sea.

The Jo's by the Sea is a wonderful place, but for whatever reason the foot-quality way below the other Jo's I know.

While I like the way they build the places, my Girlfriend is more pick and prefers Chicken AtiAtihan (or so). Here in Dumaguete they always look weird at me, as I guess I am one of the rare foreigners who goes there.
