Dencia's Restaurant Whenever pancit is the topic in town, N ever miss the Dencia’s Restaurant. Dencia’s restaurant where my parents had their reception for wedding and I literally grew with Dencias.
I could still remember my childhood memories where every Sunday right after we celebrate mass together, Dencias is the expected next stop. My all time favorite is the Chicken Aroz caldo paired with Tokwa’t Baboy. Their arroz caldo is the rice porridge of Americans and what I love about the Dencia’s way, it is cooed with native chicken making it more savory.
I could recall my late grand father when he was admitted to a nearby hospital and eating was the difficult thing to do. He would only tolerate arroz caldo and would only eat one from Dencias. Amazingly he can distinguish the taste Dencias. I was then always the first customer of the restaurant for weeks. I would patiently wait on their door step until their opening and the friendly staff have come to memorized my order , thus they already prepared my lolo’s favorite and I just have to pay for it.
Their breakfast meals toppings are superb, especially their beef tapa. Perfectly cured thin sliced beef on their sweet and natural juice. No wonder a lot of big time people visit their place for a sumptuous meal time break.
Dencias has always been packed with people all day long. I should say from appetizer to desserts and drinks they are wonderful. Once in Davao Never miss to feel The Dencias way. |
