DAVAO (or DAVAOs), Southern Philippines

The Davao we referred to is normally confined to Davao City. Davao, in fact, is a region in the southern Philippines that is made up of four (4 ) provinces namely;Compostela Valley,Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte and Davao Oriental. It is located in coast of Davao Gulf and Pacific Ocean , each one has its own distinction whereas Davao City is an independent city.

Davao Region boast of :

• Gold ores from Compostela Valley.

• The beautiful islands and resorts of IGaCOS -Island Garden City of Samal (formerly known as plain Samal) is the pride of Davao del Norte

• The rich produce (vegetables,fruits and flowers) of Davao del Sur.

• The long coast of Davao Oriental bordered with Pacific Ocean on the east and Davao Gulf on its south and western portion.

Not to forget, fresh tuna and other seafoods from the neighboring Saranggani Province and South Cotabato , home to the Worlds' best pound for pound boxer, Manny Pacquiao.

Finally, Davao City (the Davao ,we commonly refer to) has an international air and seaport , hotels and casino and currently geared towards an IT related center in the Southern Philippines.
