For the past few years, mountain bike tours of Boracay have been increasing in popularity for good reasons. Not only is it healthy but you also get to view the island in a totally unique way.

The cost of a mountain bike tour of Boracay Island is calculated for half a day or a whole day use. The rates vary in terms of the route and the places that you want to go to, but in general terms it costs 3,000 Php (about $60). For a whole day use the fee will be a little higher, but as with most of the services and tourist activities on the island, the price can be lowered by bargaining. For serious bikers, bringing their own ride is always an option you can exercise.

For those who have never gone on a mountain bike tour of Boracay Island, there are a number of different places that you can go to. The well preserved natural landscapes offer a number of different routes and paths that you can try out. Among the most popular trails are those that lead up to cliffs and hills that provide you breathtaking views of the entire island.

In addition, a mountain bike tour of Boracay Island will offer you glimpses of the other islets and islands in the vicinity. After biking, the site of the cool and serene waters, the impressive view of the skies (sunsets on the beach, as any visitor to the island will attest to, is of incomparable beauty) will rejuvenate you. Other paths that you will want to try out are the dirt roads and the rugged terrains, giving you a chance to hone your skills as a rider too.

A mountain bike tour of Boracay Island may also include a ride downwards on steep and rugged paths. Going down you will find yourself surrounded by some of the most varied and spectacular greens on the planet, passing by villages inhabited by the local populace, and culminating in a stopover at the beach, where you can relax, take a swim or end the day watching the sun go down.

The possibilities and opportunities that a mountain bike tour of Boracay Island will provide is almost infinite. Not only are there paths galore on the island, but if you so choose, you can take a trip to Caticlan for even more biking and cycling. It just goes to show that on this enchanted island, the adventure never ends.

Peter, appreciate the information above. I will be retiring next year, & need information like above. Also need information on long term lodging 6+ months in Boracay.

Any information you can provide would be great.
