Boracay Shopping

Some people may say that Boracay is over rated but whatever others say it still belongs in the list of top destinations in the Philippines and I think it will never be removed from that list. This destination peaks during summer in the Philippines because of Holy Week holiday off. Nevertheless, summer or not summer Bora is the place to be anytime of the year.

Aside form the beach and white sand Bora has other things to offer like sight seeing, sports activities, food, night life and boozing, impressive hotels and resorts, and of course every woman’s favorite thing to do SHOPPING!

Along the shores of stations 1 2 and 3, you’ll see shops or kiosks that sell various items. There are souvenirs, clothes, food, footwear, swimwear, and other basic needs. You can also find special services such as hair braiding, dread locking, tattoo, and massages. Vendors are also all over the place selling pearls and other unique finds.

There is a store in station 2 that is famous amongst the Bora locals. I noticed the popularity because all the activity organizers whom I spoke to always suggest that we meet at this store the TOURIST CENTER SHOPPING. I would say that this store stands out amongst the others because their items are priced higher than the normal but are all good quality and they have items you can not buy from the others. The store if I’ll describe it is like a shopping mall because it offers all types of shopping needs and services like handicraft, souvenir, boutique, mini mart, medicines, cell cards, credit card service, postal, telecom service, Internet café, photo development, photo copy, and safety deposit boxes. It is a one stop shop.
