Exclamation Boracay Radio Stations

Those who go to Boracay often do so they can get away from it all; forget the hassles of city life, and just live it up at the beach. And what better way to enjoy the sun than by listening to music on a radio station?

There are currently some radio stations in Boracay Island itself, such as Radio Boracay 106.1 FM. This station is situated at the Red Coconut Alley on the island. Some of the other FM and AM radio stations in nearby Iloilo can be heard, such as Bombo Radyo Iloilo and Hot FM in Antique.

However, the truth is that while the radio stations in Boracay are increasing in number, you can actually listen to a lot more, and you need not limit or constrict yourself to the “local” stations there. With your cell phone and / or mp3 player, you can tune in to a lot of the radio stations that broadcast in the provinces nearby, and even a lot of those that emanate from Metro Manila.

Another advantage for those that like to listen to radio stations while in Boracay is that the number of Internet service providers there are increasing in number, and offering broadband access. What this means is that the selection of stations you can listen to will continue to grow.

The reason is that a majority of the radio stations broadcasting in Metro Manila also broadcast on the World Wide Web. With Internet access, you can, with the click of a mouse, listen to any Philippine FM station, giving you your daily fix of oldies, classical music, jazz, hip hop, R&B or pop. If you want to listen to the news, AM stations can now be heard online, as if the radio stations were in Boracay itself.

Of course, if you want to go global, you can do so too. Just enter “radio station” in a search engine, or put in “radio station + your favorite genre” and you will now be able to listen to any station from anywhere in the world. Not only that, but there are even some sites that allow you to play disc jockey, and you can do all this from the comforts of your resort room in Boracay.

Most of those that visit Boracay go there to party, and enjoy the beach and the nightlife. But if you want to just relax on the beach by yourself, and listen to your favorite songs, you can do so, using the Internet or your cell phone. For some, that is the ultimate getaway experience.

Nothing beats listening to good music while relaxing on the sandy beaches of Boracay. Be familiar with the radio stations you can tune in to while in Boracay, and enjoy your vacation even more.
