The Philippine Tarsier also forms part of tourism in Bohol. The Philippine Tarsier is considered as the second tiniest primate in the world and this is aboriginal to the island province of Bohol.

Aside from the beaches and animals that form part of the tourism in Bohol, Bohol also has its own share in the political history of the Philippines. One of which is the fact that the fourth Philippine President Carlos P. Garcia was from this island province. As a matter of fact, he was born in Talibon, Bohol.

It is very easy to visit Bohol as tourists may travel by airplane, landing in Tagbilaran. Boats are also available in Cagayan de Oro and Cebu.
