Thumbs up Oh My Kidlat!

A year ago I went to Baguio because my company required me to go there to launch our new product. This was another opportunity for me to have fun while working. So I took my brother with me because he has been going to and fro Baguio that same year and somehow he can help and guide me around.

My brother told me that we will not leave Baguio without me trying the OH MY GULAY (OMG) restaurant. And so to make the story short we went there to have lunch. Its location is on a building’s penthouse along session road. I don’t know the exact address but the locals there know, just ask about OMG. Actually that’s how we got there, we just asked around

So we found the small building, climbed the stairs going to the penthouse, and then I was astounded by the unique restaurant set-up. By the name itself OMG denotes that it is vegetarian. And perhaps you may wonder why the title of this post is Oh My Kidlat? Answer is because artworks you’ll see here are created by one of the country’s famous artist - KIDLAT TAHIMIK. I was really clueless last year of who is the creator of the unique pieces in the restaurant. I only got to know it a few months ago from a television show that featured about Baguio. If I’m not mistaken the cooking is his wife’s and artworks are his. So combining their creative minds gave birth to OMG.

I highly recommend you going here because of the health benefits you get from Baguio vegetables and while eating feast your eyes on Kidlat Tahimik’s exceptional art. BTW, food are all economically priced.

Default Omg!

I agree, OMG is worth a try..since I'm not a vegan, it's a feast for my eyes rather than my tummy but they serve fresh local produce.

It's at the 5th floor (no elevator/escalator) of La Azotea Building along Session Road.
