Default Loboc River

Just got back from Bohol. There was a place called Nuts Huts there which was a great little stop over for back-packers. It is run by two Belgian couples. Rita and her husband Chris (who is an avid mountain biker) run it for 6 months and then Rita's brother Walter comes over and runs it for the other 6 months of the year.

The huts are not the greatest, but the facilities are just great. There are plenty of mountain bike and hiking trials, some great swimming in the river, and they also have some very accomplished masseuses there which feel great after some time in their spa.

Food there is also very healthy and also quite good. In fact there was some of the best food I had while in Bohol. For all you backpackers, this is a perfect place to stop off at for a couple days and get to know the area around Loboc river.

Bohol is much more than just Alona Beach and the Chocolate Hills. Nuts Huts is a great chance to see some of the other suites in Bohol. (Although the beaches are real nice too!)

Peace,

Island Hopper

its so nice trip even we are so tired the day before the trip... abut we still we did it... my little princess, love the views, she play with the tarsheir and some animals in the small zoo... we cross to the bamboo hunging bridge.. at the end of the hunging bridge, there is a guy there showing his talent filling the coconut using his teeth only... no even small kitchen knife ..... after this we also saw the beautifull chocolate hills... my daughter love the view.. she more naughty when she had a chance to take a lot of pictures of the view....

hi everybody... last time i mention that we're in chocolate hills but not in loboc river...witch is the topic here... sorry about that... im just so excited to tell more about our visit in bohol, but then i still forgot to mention our having lunch in the floating restaurant in Loboc river witch is really nice... Filipino foods and some intermission numbers from local and show after few minutes of trip in that floating restaurant we are in...Then there are some stations that some local will show and present our cultural dance... i wish i have save some pictures of those guys dancing... its really great and its nice to watch... my daughter love to see it again and again..then she start asking to... "mama it that also the same dance in other places if they go ...for disco" and i said hmmm i dont think so.... but its same dance if you go to some cultural theater and they have show like that.. then, you will see how big is the difference between modern dance than the old Filipino cultural dance....
